I was stuck in a cycle of constant inner criticism and feelings of ‘never good enough.’ No matter what I accomplished, that negative voice in my head always criticised me and dwelled on flaws. I was burned out from chasing unrealistic expectations.

Working with Janelle helped me finally silence my inner critic. I learned how to replace self-judgment with self-acceptance. We identified core beliefs from my childhood driving the negative self-talk, and worked to rewrite those stories.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How many 1:1 coaching sessions will I need?

A: For beginners, aim for 5-10 minutes once or twice daily. With time, build up to 20-30 minute sessions. Meditating first thing in the morning and in the evening are great options. Even just a few mindful minutes can make a big difference!

Q: What is the difference between your group and 1:1 coaching?

A: Hatha focuses on holding poses over time for stretch and strength. Vinyasa links poses together fluidly through synchronized breath, generating internal heat. Try both to see what resonates!

Q: How does the Academy work?

A: Avoid heavy meals before practice. A plant-based diet high in fresh fruits/veggies is ideal. Stay hydrated and limit stimulants. Listen to your body’s needs. An Ayurvedic cleanse can be very regenerative.
